Hi, I’m Bianca. I moved to Istanbul in 2018 and quickly fell under the spell of Anatolian rugs and kilims—the art, the craftsmanship, the mystery. Needless to say, I now have more carpets than floor space. The magic is real.
Through trusted relationships on the ground and a sharp eye for design, quality, and value, I’ve curated a collection of my most extraordinary finds. These handmade vintage and antique rugs are timeless, heirloom-quality pieces—true treasures.
This is a unique asset class. Antique rugs often retail upwards of USD $10,000. I’m offering them direct to you wholesale, in most cases at less than 50% of retail value.
Retail values are my best informed estimate and not a guarantee.
I now live in Costa Rica and export rugs worldwide as a passion project to keep me connected to the beauty and magic of Türkiye. I travel there regulary to source rugs and experience everything that makes the country special.
Yes. Every rug in our collection is vintage and often antique, handwoven, and one-of-a-kind. They are artworks created by skilled and talented artisans. Therefore are no duplicates or reproductions. Every rug is unique and original.
Our rugs are vintage or antique and may show signs of age—fading, wear, or color shifts. These are not flaws but part of the character that makes each rug unique. We provide detailed photos and videos to help you fall in love with the piece and so you know what your investing in.
You can expect a musty smell from the rug when opening the package. Airing the rug for a few days in a shaded area will allow the smell to disappear.
Absolutely. Message us via WhatsApp or SMS to request more images or a video of any rug you’re drawn to. We’re happy to help you feel confident in your choice. +13104379235
All sales are final. Each piece in our collection is a one-of-one vintage treasure, selected with intention for its quality, character, and lasting value. These rugs are storied works of art—meant to be lived with and loved for decades. We encourage thoughtful and heartfelt purchases and are always here to answer any questions before you buy.
Vintage rugs are surprisingly durable. Regular airing or vacuuming (without the beater bar), rotating occasionally, and careful spot cleaning with gentle detergent in the case of a spill. For deeper cleans, we recommend a professional who specializes in washing vintage textiles.
Note: You may notice a musty scent when you first open your rug—this is completely normal for vintage textiles that have been stored, and it will naturally dissipate with fresh air.
All rugs are sourced with love across Anatolia (modern-day Turkiye), directly from trusted suppliers and local village collectors with deep roots in the region. Bianca curates each drop personally with an eye for rarity, design, and charm.
Yes—door-to-door worldwide shipping is included in the listed price. We handle customs and logistics so your rug arrives safely and without hassle. There may be a 'last mile' fee required at delivery, but we will account for this when we confirm your order.
Yes. Designers and trade professionals can access early drops and direct sourcing. Apply via our form above or reach out directly to discuss collaboration. [email protected]
If you’re looking for something in particular, we offer sourcing upon request. Let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to find your match. All rugs are unique and one of a kind so it can be a trust game finding one that fits perfectly. In our experience the right rug always finds its owner.

Natural wool contains lanolin, a waxy substance that protects the fiber and gives it durability and softness. When exposed to moisture or sealed for transport, the lanolin can emit an earthy, musty scent—often compared to a “wet dog.” This is not a defect or a problem; it’s simply the nature of authentic, undyed wool and old rugs. To freshen your rug, we recommend unrolling it in a well-ventilated area for a few days. Avoid chemical airfresheners and cleaners—air, dappled sunlight, and time are usually all it needs.
Usually when buying a vintage rug in a store this airing has been done for you, but then they also sell for double the price.
